Insurance pricing rules written as PASS formulas could only be evaluated on the server, so every quote change meant a slow roundtrip. I analyzed the formula language and its business semantics, then built a framework-agnostic interpreter that executes the same rules directly in the browser.

Insurance claims were handled across disconnected steps. Starting from requirement analysis with the business, I helped shape the claims lifecycle into one end-to-end workflow and built the Angular front-end for the new platform.
Outcome A single, streamlined workflow covering the entire claims lifecycle.
Fragmented point-to-point integrations slowed delivery. I mapped the integration needs across the policy lifecycle and designed one Spring Cloud, Kubernetes and AWS platform to serve them, with gateway, rate limiting, observability and OpenAPI contracts.
Outcome One integration layer covering quote, issue, administration, documents and payments.
A leading insurer's legacy portfolio platform was slow and hard to maintain. I helped rework its portfolio, payment and CRM workflows and modernize it to AWS, with a new React UI and secure, standards-based REST APIs.
Outcome Better performance and maintainability, and a modern portfolio experience with online payments.
Customers needed to buy directly from their phones. The apps offer three ways in: catalog browsing, OCR label scanning and QR scanning, plus event and room booking and online payments.
Outcome Multi-channel purchasing built natively for both platforms.
Developer tooling for the Hotmoka Java blockchain: Hotexplorer (block and object explorer), hotweb3 (JavaScript and TypeScript client library) and Hotwallet (browser-extension wallet).
